Central Otago is quite simply, the most fabulous part of the world in which to live. The aim of this blog is to share a little bit of Central with everybody. Take the weather; whilst the rest of the country is donning snorkels and masks, cancelling the kids’ sport on Saturday and growing strange webbed appendages, Clyde is basking in spring-like sunshine. 2008 winter has brought none of the dramas everybody else has suffered – no wind, no rain to speak of and hardly 4 or 5 frosts strung together. The thyme on the hills is greening up and there is some major bud-burst going on. There are many reasons I love being here – this is just one.
